The Thunder Beast Ultra 5 DT is an extremely compact suppressor designed for .30 caliber precision rifles.  Although it still provides good suppression, it is made for applications where minimum size is the highest priority.
 

At just 9.4 ounces and 5 inches long, the Thunder Beast Ultra 5 is one of the smallest and lightest suppressors on the market.  It will reduce a typical .308 bolt-action rifle's report to roughly 143-145 dB.  The Ultra 5 also works well with subsonic .300 Blackout, with a sound reduction down to 133 dB.   The Ultra 5 is rated for:

CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION

While the Thunder Beast Ultra 5 may not be quiet enough to shoot without traditional hearing protection, it brings numerous other benefits to the table.  It's size adds only a minimal length to the barrel, which greatly reducing concussion and felt recoil.  For situations such as PRS matches or range where hearing protection is required, the Ultra 5 allows the shooter to make faster and more accurate followup shots.  The reduction of noise and concussion lends to less flinching and anticipation of the shot.  Although it's a special-use suppressor, it is a tremendous asset in those situations.

The ULTRA 5 is our super compact .30 caliber precision rifle suppressor.  It is best for applications where minimum size is the highest priority but good suppression is still required.  The ULTRA 5 will suppress a typical .308 bolt-action rifle down to approx 143-145 dB1.  The ULTRA 5 weighs only 7.6 ounces and is just 5 inches long.  The ULTRA 5 is also perfect for .300 Blackout rifles.  A 16-inch bolt-action .300 Blackout will be suppressed down to 133-135 dB with subsonic ammunition.
