LIGHTEST IN CLASS
Thunder Beast designed the Fly 9 with the same philosophy as their ULTRA series. Lightweight, high-performance, but still as compact as possible. The ULTRA series comes in various sizes, but the Fly 9 includes multiple length options right out of the box. It can be run in a 7" version, which is still smaller than many competitors. A module can be removed, dropping it down to only 4.4" long and still hearing safe with many types of ammo. This gives users the option between ultra-quiet and ultra-small, depending on their needs.
TBAC is known for light suppressors, and their newest pistol option doesn't disappoint. The full titanium construction puts the Fly 9 on the scale at 7.9 ounces. That includes the piston and mounting hardware. This is 3-6 ounces lighter than most of the competition.
In addition to 9mm, the Fly 9 is rated for 300 Blackout supersonic on 8" and longer barrels and subsonic on 5.5" barrels. It can also handle 350 LEGEND if used on a 16" barrel. The pistons were designed to be compatible with other common industry leaders. The Fly 9 can use Thunder Beast pistons but is also compatible with ones made by Rugged and SilencerCo.

Light pistol cans are a bit of a misunderstood topic. Many people don't think 3 or 5 ounces is a big deal when putting on the end of a pistol, as the can "ruins the balance anyway" or "it's not that big of a difference. In those aspects, they are correct. What isn't talked about are the two main reasons for light can on a pistol. Better cycling and less mass affecting recoil. The lighter the silencer, the less "bounce" it has after a shot. Combined with both a long and a short configuration, it's the best of both worlds. The Fly 9 checks many important boxes for a great-sounding, great functioning 9mm suppressor.
