ZERO BACKPRESSURE AND COMPACT

The Velos 556K from SilencerCo is a compact, durable, and quiet 5.56 silencer designed for hard use.  Unlike most of the competition, the Velos 556K has virtually no backpressure.  It takes everything loved about the larger Velos LPB and puts it in a more compact package.  

What does low backpressure matter?  Backpressure has a number of unwanted side effects, but was long thought to be an unavoidable byproduct of suppressing rifles.  Reducing backpressure allows the firearm to function more naturally.  This results in softer shooting, increased reliability when suppressed, less fouling, and reduced wear-and-tear on components.  It also prevents annoying and toxic gasses from being directed back into the operator's face, as well as reducing "port pop."  

The Velos K is full-auto rated with no barrel restrictions.  The compact size allows for better handling, as well as easier movement in close quarters.   It's ideal for SBRs, select-fire weapons, and on-the-job use for today's professionals.  Installation is quick and easy as it uses and includes the popular ASR mounting system.  The Velos 556K uses the "Charlie" series of accessories, sharing the same parts as the Saker series, Chimera, and Velos LBP / 30.
