Stainless steel adapter comes with standard 1/2x28 threads for use with any 1/2x28 threaded .22 LR suppressor. Works very well with AR-15 22lr conversion kits. Enjoy the benefits of O-ring engagement, which keeps the muzzle threads clean and your suppressor from loosening while firing. This adapter is for existing threaded barrels. Adapter comes with thread protector, which also has O-ring engagement.

  • Can I drill the hole bigger to use this adapter as barrel extension for my 5.56 barrel? I also have the same problem that my barrel is exactly the same length as the handguard so I couldn't mount anything on my barrel I need to extend my barrel by .5" to

    This extension can be used on 5.56 / 223 rifles without any modification.

  • Can this be added to a 5.56 barrel for use with 5.56 ammo? I'm needing a barrel extension exactly like this not for conversion but merely to extend my barrel .75" to clear my handguard to attach a supressor.

    This extension was not designed for use with 5.56mm ammo, rimfire only. If you need more than a .25" to clear the handgaurd, you will need a new handguard that is shorter or has a larger I.D.
