CS5 5.56 SILENCER

Radical Defense's CS5 is a compact, 3D-printed silencer with zero blowback designed for use on .223/5.56 rifles. There's no compromise in decibel reduction with the CS5. It's a compact can with zero blowback, yet it still sounds great. This is achieved by the unique geometry of the internals, which is not possible through traditional and outdated manufacturing methods. The proprietary coating allows for excellent corrosion resistance while minimizing IR reflection for those facing near-peer adversaries equipped with NODs.    

Backpressure is an unfortunate side effect of many traditionally made suppressors. The gas is trapped and left to cool in the suppressor, resulting in a quiet shooting experience. That gas has to go somewhere, and often, it's back into the firearm itself. The negative aspects of this include irritation to the shooter's nose and eyes, increased recoil, increased bolt velocity and cyclic speed, more carbon fouling, and potential degradation in reliability. These unwanted side effects can often be reduced or removed by tuning the host firearm; however, this requires the shooter to be intimately familiar with the operation and tuning of the host. The CS5 removes these concerns by incorporating Forward Venting Breathable Technology.   This design process by Radical Defense removes unwanted blowback, allowing the firearm to act more naturally without the negative aspects caused by backpressure.  

The CS5 uses the HUB/Bravo/Omega mounting thread pattern. This industry-standard pitch allows for the installation of numerous third-party mounts. While not necessary, should an individual wish to use another company's mount, it can be quickly and easily accomplished with the Radical Defense CS5. If you want to keep things simple and OEM, the CS5 ships with a minimal taper mount and 1/2x28 muzzle devices. No modification or alteration of the silencer's mounting system is required.

The CS5 is available in two versions. Haynes is a cobalt-alloy for those needing an ultra-durable solution ideal for SBRs or select-fire weapons. The titanium version weighs significantly less and is perfect for anyone who needs a lightweight suppressor.
