The Flow 556 Ti offers a good balance of at-the-ear vs at-the-muzzle sound suppression. The lack of backpressure reduces "port pop," and the increased volume keeps things even more quiet at the muzzle. This lack of backpressure reduces numerous problems that have plagued the silencer industry. Compared to other more traditional silencers, the Flow 556 Ti reduces component wear on the firearm, maintains a natural bolt velocity and cyclic rate, reduces excess fouling, provides additional recoil reduction, and prevents toxic gasses from being directed back into the shooter's face.
Like Huxwrx's other Flow offerings, the 556 Ti utilizes the Torque Lock mounting system. This quick attach system tightens under fire, giving you confidence the silencer will not come loose during adverse conditions.
