Designed specifically for the AR platform, the ARX provides exceptional performance and weighs in under 8 ounces.  The ARX is the lightest hard-use silencer on the market and is designed specifically for use in semi or fully-automatic 5.56 rifles.  It features a C-300 nickel-cobalt maraging baffle construction with laser welded Inconel edges.  This hybrid design allows for the best qualities of both materials to shine.  It has no barrel length restrictions and is designed to protect the bore aperture.  The blast baffle is ported and leads a stepwise progressive bore to have ideal sound suppression without drastically increased backpressure.  This translates to a more quiet experience for the shooter.

The Energetic Armament ARX features the same serial ID ring as their other silencers and has a 1.375x24 thread pitch for mounts.  This "Bravo" or "Omega" thread pitch has become an industry-standard, allowing shooters to adapt the can to whatever mounting solution fits their unique needs.   

 


CAPITOL ARMORY'S OPINION

The ARX is one of the lightest silencers on the market while remaining durable.  Most silencers that have this level of durability weighT two, three, or sometimes even four times as much.   Combine this with the "Bravo" thread pitch for mounts, and you've got a silencer in a league of its own.   The ARX comes with a direct thread mount by default, but can be adapted to use nearly any commercially available mounting system.  Like the Vox and Vox K, the ARX is made from C300.  This allows it to remain strong as extremely high temperatures.  For those looking for extremely light weight, durable can dedicated to a 5.56 rifle, the Arx deserves strong consideration.
