The Dead Air Xemax Muzzle brakes use the same technology as the Xeno mounting system, only in a larger size.  The self-aligning taper system provides for consistent mounting and repeatability of results.  The Xemax system has been beefed-up to handle big bore calibers, including .33 and .45 (with the Dead Air Primal).  When used without the silencer, the single-port design directs gasses to the side and upward, reducing recoil and dust being kicked up.  As a mount, the Xemax muzzle brake can assist in extending the service life of your suppressor. 

Optimized for use on .33 Caliber (including 33 XC and .338 Lapua Mag, 8.6 Blackout) Bolt Action Rifles and.45 Caliber (.45-70, .450 Bushmaster) Lever-Action and big-bore MSRs, the Xemax system is perfectly paired with the our new Nomax 33 Silencer for the ultimate big-bore shooting experience. Furthermore, Dead Air Primal silencer owners will also be able to enjoy the benefits of Xemax by simply installing the Xemax adapter on their silencer and the Xemax muzzle brake on their host weapon. All of the Xemax Muzzle Brakes do require “timing” and come with the appropriate shims to do so.

Please consider caliber and bore limitations of the suppressor when mounting the Xemax adapters and mounts.
